Tanya Monga
Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Tanya Monga serves as Chief Executive Officer. She has over 12 years of experience in biotechnology including both pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Ms. Monga joined Roche in 2009 after experiences in startups in the US and UK as well as a Swiss bank. She has held roles with increasing responsibility in Roche, having worked in Switzerland, Colombia, Spain, and the US. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Lifecycle Leader for Neuroscience and Rare Diseases where she was responsible for fenebrutinib, starting 3 global phase III studies in multiple sclerosis. Ms. Monga earned a B.S. in Engineering Science, Nanoengineering from University of Toronto and a M.S. in Chemistry and Physics from McGill University.

Wade Stevenson
Senior Vice President, North America Sales
Mr. Stevenson serves as Senior Vice President, North America Sales. He has over 20 years of experience in infectious disease molecular diagnostics. Prior to joining GenMark, Mr. Stevenson held progressive roles at BioFire, but most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, where he was responsible for supporting both the BioFire US Sales team and the bioMerieux global sales team. Mr. Stevenson earned a B.S in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University and a MBA with a duel emphasis in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina.

Al Maderazo
Vice President, Quality, Regulatory, & Clinical Affairs
Dr. Maderazo serves as the Vice President, Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs and has held various roles with the company since joining in September 2013. Dr. Maderazo has over 20 years of quality, regulatory, and clinical experience in the medical device industry where he has championed organizational quality compliance and has established successful regulatory strategies for numerous novel molecular diagnostic products. Prior to GenMark, Dr. Maderazo held roles of increasing responsibility in Regulatory Affairs for Hologic and Abbott Vascular. Dr. Maderazo received his B.S in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Connecticut and his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics & Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

Christine Shaw
Vice President, Assay Development
Dr. Shaw has served as the Vice President, Assay Development since July 2020, and has held various roles of increasing responsibility within research and development since joining the company in June 2015. Dr. Shaw has over 16 years of research and diagnostic product development experience and previously held roles with Baylor College of Medicine Medical Genetics Laboratories, Roche-NimbleGen, and Third Wave Technologies. Dr. Shaw received her B.S in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine.
